Here is a link to a great article about I project I worked on while with Gibson Thompson Guess Architects. The design and re-design work took years but it was well worth it. The project is essentially a screened pavilion for socializing but it carries much greater material and cultural meaning. The structure is designed to highlight and protect the ruins of an old cook house.
