David Thompson Architect, LLC designed significant renovations of the historic Heyward-Cuthbert House in 2014.  In 2022, David Thompson Studio began design on an addition to the rear of the structure.  The new construction includes a bedroom, living room, powder room and dining room which opens onto a new terrace.  The architecture is meant to both differentiate itself from and sit compatibly with the existing structures.  The materials and forms are timeless and yet distinct from what came before on the property.
