Lenoir is the third project DTA has completed with award winning chef, author and television personality Vivian Howard.  Located in the heart of the historic district of Charleston, the restaurant can be accessed both from the street and from the hotel to which it is attached.  The bar is the heart of the room to encourage conversation and connection amongst diners.  Materials and details find balance between being timeless and contemporary and are referential to Ms. Howard’s home region, Lenoir County North Carolina.  Sculptures fashioned from tractor parts, tobacco sticks, family portraits and butter bean pans are personal  and meaningful contributors to the texture of the space.
