Shokudo is an Izakaya or Japanese tavern, owned by The Indigo Road Hospitality Group.  The restaurant is located on bustling King St in the historic district of Charleston. The interior design is inspired by Chef Masa Hamaya and Steve Palmer’s vision of a wabi sabi influenced Japanese Farmhouse for the dining room and an urban, lively beer garden for the rear patio. The design was a collaborative process with a deep roster of creatives and craftspeople.
